On Monday night, I went to a tango show at Cafe Tortoni with Ashley, Brock, and Joel. It was actually a lot of fun, as it was kind of like a mini theatrical production with a singing narrator. Haha, I had trouble following the Spanish in the songs, but I would catch a word here and there. There were definitely parts when he´d want the audience to sing along, but none of us had any idea what was going on, so it was kind of funny.

I finished part 2 in the Narnia books- the infamous The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe. They´re pretty quick to read, and I think it´s helpful in learning spanish. Yesterday was another Argentina soccer game. Ashley and I intended to watch it at 2, but apparently we had heard the wrong time because it didn´t come on until like 4. It was kind of a boring game, as it ended 0-0, and both of us definitely fell asleep. Haha. Oh well.

I´m not sure what we´ve got planned for the rest of the week. Ashley´s checking on getting tickets to some musical that I´ve never heard of but I guess is pretty famous- The Producers. I´ve got another week of Spanish classes, though my interest in going is somewhat waning. My guess is that I´ll probably skip out on a few classes next week and not take the final exam seeing as how I don´t really have any benefit in going.

Anyway, that´s about it for now. I hope everyone is doing well.

'The Producers'!!! You've got to go! It's only the biggest and baddest comedy to hit the theater scene in years....I'm glad you guys are getting to watch some World Cup action. Argentina is one of the teams favored to win the Cup (along with Brazil, of course). Can you do me a favor and get me a jersey? Nothing fancy or pricey, just something neat (oh, and a shot glass too if you could, preferably with a national coat of arms or flag and says 'Argentina' :) ). Yeah, I'm not picky about stuf...Work at Glaxo is going really well for Sach and I. We were also thrilled to get your postcard yesterday. It took only 6 days to get here! Not too shabby, considering it takes mail 5 days to reach England (and I imagine there's a lot more traffic going that way than to Buenos Aires). In other news, the Carolina Hurricans won the Stanley Cup, Tar Heel baseball has made it to the final round of the College World Series, the US has activated it's 'missile defense shield' against a possible nuclear strike from North Korea, al-Qaeda terrorist leader al-Zarqawi is dead, Kerry's waffling again, Bill Gates has all but left Microsoft in order to focus on the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation, the stock market is in fluctuation but mostly going down, Paul McCartney recently turned 64 (think of the song 'When I'm 64'), the shuttle Discovery is set to launch soon after the fleet has been grounded for about a year...and I'm excited about seeing 'Superman Returns' next week, along with 'Crash' this weekend. I think I win for longest comment. I'd love to see someone beat this. I mean, come on. Bring it on. I miss ya'll lots and can't wait for ya'll to come back. Summer in Cary isn't the same without you. Take care, and cheers!

haha, so i was just trying to respond to your comment, and i think i kicked the power cord on the computer or something because it just randomly decided that it didn´t want to be turned on anymore. but it´s all good because now i´m on a better computer. that was a very comprehensive and thorough summary of current events that i´ve missed. i´ve actually read about most of them, but it´s nice to know about the rest. i can most definitely get you a jersey. not too sure of what size though.. medium, large? it´s good to hear that you got the postcard already. rez hadn´t gotten his yet, and he´s leaving at the end of the month, so that´s promising. thanks for the comment, and i´ll let you know about the producers when i see it next wednesday.
